Welcome to today’s teaching on How you as a student can read for long Hours without getting tired or feeling sleepy along with you having your full concentration.

In today’s lecture, I will be sharing with you 7 practical steps you must to take to be able to read long during both night and day hours.

Reading must be derived by passion, A student that cannot read cannot succeed In education. Success is only for those who prepared for it.

Before I  go deep into the practical steps you need to take to study for a long time, I must make this below three point clear to you.

PONT 1: BE PERSISTENT

When it comes to academic success, how long you read does not really matter rather the amount of knowledge you have in you. To some individual reading for a very long time can be so boring and frustrating that they even tend to forget the ones they have read.

POINT 2: DON’T PROCRASTINATE

Yes, you heard that well. Procrastinate is the killer of time. Always do the needful at the right time, Remember procrastination is a lazy man excuse. When you prepare on ahead of time, you cannot be caught unaware. There is a saying which says “When preparation meets Opportunity success is inevitable” That’s true! When you prepare ahead you stand the chance to always win.

5 Practical steps to take to enable you to read for a long time during the day with full concentration.

1.Exercise

As long as academic is a concern, exercise is very important. When you exercise daily you boost your brain cells which helps you to increase your learning ability and also boost your long term memory. If you don’t excercise, how then can you read for long hours with concentration? imposible because you have not developed your brain cells. Also, regular exercise makes you be more alert, improves concentration and motivation.

2.SLEEP! SLEEP!! SLEEP!!!

Sleep is very important in life If you don’t get an adequate sleep you won’t be able to function optimally during the day. During sleep hours your body tends to restore itself to its normal state.

According to an article published by Medium.com Babies are expected to sleep for at least 15 hours a day. Teenagers are expected to sleep for at least 9 hours, then Adult are expected to sleep for at least 9 hours a day.

Most Students don’t know the benefits of Afternoon sleep at all. if you don’t take advantage of afternoon sleep, how then can you study for long hours with full concentration? that not possible because when studying you will be feeling sleeping during the day or night. From today try to take a nap (Afternoon sleep) for at least a month and you will see changes in your circulatory system.

THE DO’S AND DON’T OF AFTERNOON SLEEP

To get the best from Afternoon sleep there are some things you need to do and not to do.

  1. Do not sleep for more than 40 to 50 minutes as this will help you not to feel tired when you wake up.
  2. Remember that too much sleep in the afternoon can keep you awake at night when you were supposed to be asleep to wake for night reading. That’s for those that prefer night reading.

3.EAT TO MAINTAIN ENERGY
